In a group of shelving, the first one is called the starter bay, the main shelving, and the rest is called the Add-on. The starter bay has more upright and foot on one side than the add-on shelving and shares the upright and foot on the other side (shared the hole structure). You can think of the main shelving as a person with two feet, while if you think of the shelving as a person with one foot, the person with one foot must stand on the shoulder of the next person. For example, if a row is composed of 5 shelving, it can be regarded as the starter bay and four add-on bay. The uprights and feet that need to be used are 6 (2 for one main shelving and 1 for each of the four add-on shelving). Through this design, we saved 4 uprights (originally 10 uprights were needed for 5 shelving).
The shelving installed at the side end of this set of shelving is called the end rack. Shelves placed against the wall are called single sided gondola racks, Wall racks, and separate ones are called double sided gondola racks, Gondola racks, and Island racks.
